> A Child ...

"She opened her eyes and behold her world. There was no choice, and as she lay with the faces, the flickering of the lights, the noise - her life began. She did not choose her mother, her father, her brother, her sister. She did not choose the veil she hid behind. She did not choose the language she spoke or the people who knew her. She did not choose this life, this place. But it is where she found herself, and she did what she was taught, what she saw. She discovered herself in this life. It was a journey of gaining understanding, a school of learning. It was a world with its ways and this is where she found herself. She woke up and she went to sleep, she ate and she walked. She did not choose to cry or to smile. She did not choose to laugh and she did not choose to be hurt. She did not choose her personality. She did not choose to see herself through the eyes and lives of the others, but she discovered that life was all and only about resisting the seeing of herself and her footprints through the eyes of others. Ultimately life was about learning to see herself through the eyes of her lone beginning, as it would have been without the world and its ways. She learned in order to unlearn. She became to un-become. She looked forward so that she could look back and she lived to die. How do you see yourself as your were at or perhaps before your lone beginning. What would you have been without the moulding of your hurt, the loss and the gain measured by the world, the people, places, experiences. How do you resist, how do you pursue your life and refuse influence. I want a life without influence. I want the hurt, the losses and the gains, the people, places and experiences to have no hold. I want the truth. I want my innocence back"
